The township
A community with deep roots
Founded in 1754 as one of the original townships of Northampton County, Forks Township grew from an agricultural community between Bushkill Creek and the Delaware River into a welcoming residential area. Today it is home to roughly 16,000 residents and remains part of the Lehigh Valley metropolitan area, with mature neighborhoods, township parks, and open green space.
The township runs its own community center and parks system, and its location just north of Easton puts downtown shops, restaurants, and the Delaware River waterfront minutes away.
